SnOw Much Help

| We received fresh, new snow last night that came down from the sky in some of the biggest flakes I have ever seen. |

Hearts

| The theme of our day today was....hearts. We had candy hearts, heart sandwhiches, a meatloaf in the shape of a heart, chocolate hearts, heart napkins, heart placemats..... |

| ....but our main focus... |

| ...was on the heart of a special girl. "I have cleansed your heart and made you brand new," says the Lord. |
 |
| Tonight, her heart was made white like the snow through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. |
 |
| A celebration of grace.... |
 |
| ......forgiveness.... |
 |
| ...and especially of love! Happy Valentine's Day! |

100th Day of School

| Today we celebrated our 100th day of school by making a special treat. 100 Day Snack Mix First, we counted out 100 licorice... |
 |
| ...and put them in a bowl. |
 |
| Next, 100 circle pretzels were added, but a few were played with first. |
 |
| 100 animal crackers... |
 |
| ...were also added. |
 |
| A few ingredients were snitched along the way. |
 |
| The final recipe included... 100 Dots 100 Pretzels 100 Chocolate Mini Wheats 100 M&M's 100 Gummy Worms 100 Cheez Its 100 Licorice 100 Animal Crackers |
 |
| A little fun was added to the mix, too. |
 |
| Counting 100 Cheez Its was also a good way to have a visual aid for a perfect sqaure....10². |
 |
| We mixed it all togther and..... |
 |
| ....put 1 cup into a baggie.....and munched away while we enjoyed the next phase.... afternoon reading time! A perfect way to celebrate the 100th day of school! |
