O Come, All Ye Faithful,
joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye....
....to Bethlehem;
Come and behold Him,
born the King of angels;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him,
Venite, adoremus Dominum!!
There was a big game tonight!
Coco wore her dance outfit...
....and ran out on the court during halftime to do her flip.
By the end of the game, it was long past suppertime...and her hunger was taking the spunk out of her.
But, the game was over and it was time to go anyway....
...with a well-deserved 2nd place ribbon! Congratulations, Rocky!
Yesterday, we visited our local tree farm to find and cut down our Christmas tree.
We picked out a good, sharp saw....
...and then after walking a bit, we spotted the perfect tree!
One of the best parts of the tree farm visit was warming up afterwards with the free hot chocolate....
....and home-made donuts.
We went home with hot chocolate smudge smiles....
....and of course, the perfect tree!
Last night, we put our shoes outside....
...and this morning....they were filled with chocolate! Gold coin chocolates....special delivered by St. Nicholas!
And, then it was off to our homeschooling St. Nicholas Day party.... where.... guess what???!!....we had MORE chocolate!
Special craft tables were set up...
...to help us celebrate the day!
Happy St. Nicholas Day!
....to be outside on these beautiful days in December. Each degree of warm as prompted us to go out and enjoy the mild temps whenever we can!
Notice the "Snow Boots and No Jacket" look.....maybe this style will catch on as the winter rolls on....mabye it won't!
We started an Advent project that was perfect for a warm, sunny December afternoon.
Nacho and Buttercup painted the letters in the word, "PREPARE" to go on our fireplace mantle for the weeks leading up to Christmas.
They did a great job!
Our other Advent project was buying and putting together this Advent wreath! The kids all look forward to lighting the candle each night for devotions. Have a blessed Advent!
