...took lots of determination and concentration...
and Moe gave it his all!

Moe’s Scientific Conclusions

Experiment 1
Hypothesis: "The most dense liquid sinks to the bottom and so does the most dense object."
Results: "I did the order wrong, putting the cork, then the raspberries, then the rocks and then the ice cube last which I think made it float because it wasn't supposed to float but that's what happened."
Conclusion: "I now understand the great power of atoms."

Experiment 2
Hypothesis: "When the water cabbage mix goes into the vinegar bottle, the balloon with the baking soda inside will blow up after is is dumped into the vinegar mixture."

Results: "Exactly what I predicted, happened."
 

Conclusion: "When you put certain chemicals together, amazing things can happen."

Summer Birthdays

Ky turned 18 at the top of the summer!

He enjoyed his annual golf date with all the men of the family.

Rocky chose to ride the go-carts among many other fun things that day.

Moe is now a teen-ager!

He was able to have his golf outing with Rocky.
We love celebrating summer birthdays!

Nacho had his very first practice on his very 1st sport team ever!

But the best part of the night was when the coach (our neighbor) offered Nacho a ride home from practice tonight!
And the even better part?....the coach drives a convertible!

Buttercup’s Brownies

Buttercup made her very first batch of brownies without any help this week!

She said the best part of the experience was having the whole bowl to lick clean all by herself.
The best part for us was having very yummy brownies for dessert!
