Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. We do this to help those that are distant from us get a glimpse into our days so that the miles that separate us won't keep us apart.

Laundry Day

Our dryer has not been working properly, so on Thursday, we needed to hang up our clothes on our home-made clothesline.

Laundry that day was actually EASIER for me.

I had helpers who RACED to go get the next load out of the washer.

And, the beautiful, warm, windy day dried 5 loads of laundry in no time!

This outdoor chore might turn into a new habit!
(At least for a while...we haven't figured out what is wrong with the dryer yet!)

  1. all the Hardie girls:

Labor Day is suppose to be a day of rest from all labor. NOT A DAY OF LAUNDRY!! Set your mother straight!!
