Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. We Have 60+ Reasons....

....to be outside on these beautiful days in December.
Each degree of warm as prompted us to go out and enjoy the mild temps whenever we can!



Notice the "Snow Boots and No Jacket" look.....maybe this style will catch on as the winter rolls on....mabye it won't!


We started an Advent project that was perfect for a warm, sunny December afternoon.

Nacho and Buttercup painted the letters in the word, "PREPARE" to go on our fireplace mantle for the weeks leading up to Christmas.

They did a great job!
Our other Advent project was buying and putting together this Advent wreath!  The kids all look forward to lighting the candle each night for devotions.
