Haircut Day

Farm Field Trip

 

We took a field trip to a local farm today and there were kitties everywhere....much to the delight of Nacho...

....Buttercup....

....and Coco.

There were cows to feed...
(cows that will be producing the milk we will be drinking....we are scheduled to pick up 2 gallons every Friday)

....and horses, too.

This cat stayed with Moe almost the whole time we were there....he was so happy and content to snuggle right into Moe's neck.  Farmer Joan was a wonderful host.

And, it was so Great to see a Goat because it is "G" week!!

Sock Hopping

Nothing like the feeling of getting new socks.....and wearing them for the first time.

Nacho's day started our with slides all over the kitchen floor.....Tom Cruise style...I could almost hear...

....."Old Time Rock and Roll" playing in the background!

It was a nice, windless day....which made it easy to be outside....

...practicing touchdown leaps.

Guess who....can you tell by the socks?  He was light on his feet all day!  Didn't take those socks off for a minute.

More touchdown leaps...

...and, of course, touchdown leaps need to be practiced WHILE trying to catch the football.

Moe, the carnival games leader, led a potato sack race sans the potato sacks.....

....but, they made the garbage sacks work.
Nacho won first place in the race.....must have been the socks!

Those socks just kept him hopping!

NOTE TO SELF:  I have to get me some of dem der socks!

Buttercup and Basketball....



.....are two fun things to watch at the same time.

She likes to play and has learned quite a few rules and fundamentals this fall.

There was a game today.....the team played against each other.

10 girls in the 3rd/4th grade instructional league, so a perfect 5 on 5.
The clock only stopped for half-time, so all the girls got to play the whole game.

Buttercup will be done next week, and try-outs start for Ky, Rocky and Moe this week.

Ready or not.....
Local area gyms....here we come!
