Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. We do this to help those that are distant from us get a glimpse into our days so that the miles that separate us won't keep us apart.

This-N-That Tidbits

Our family loves home-made ice cream and we are currently on the look-out for a maker that doesn't require using ice. I fell in love with this model on Christmas Day and I'm trying to find one similiar.

Daddy calls Buttercup "Sweetie" and he gave her a wooden plaque with her special name on it for Christmas.

Cleo ALWAYS has cookies ready for you if you decide to drop by for a visit.

Buttercup has dance practice every Thursday night. She received a new leotard for Christmas in her stocking and is excited to wear it......especially since the long sleeves will keep her warmer.

We had 49 degree weather on the last day of 2010 and the kids have been able to jump on the trampoline again. They are now allowed to use it in the freezing temps and/or when it has snow on it.

Ky brought home the "Most Valuable" plaque from last night's school basketball award ceremony.......the votes were cast by his team mates.
Good job, Ky!!!
Keep up the great work!
