Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. We do this to help those that are distant from us get a glimpse into our days so that the miles that separate us won't keep us apart.

Dear Yardzilla....

Do you like our pretty stripes on our front yard!??  I was hoping that people who drive by would think that it adds character!
All one color?  That would be too boring!

But, I am finding that I am getting tired of this color....

....and, that I am partial to a nice, deep, dark green!
Any thoughts or help?
Yes, watering would be a great remedy.  The only water it gets is from the rain.  But, why do we get these dry spots in ROWS?

Very distinctive rows!

Love,
Your Non-Green Thumb Friend,
Sara

  1. Sara, Who does the fertilizer on your yard. Because it is in rows, it is most likely a man-made problem. Fertilizer can kill grass if it is put on too heavily. Could that be it? Are the stripes about as wide as your mower?
