Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. 1st Day of Autumn

Today, as we went off to get groceries, we spied these......

.....delicious pumpkins, so being the 1st day of Fall, we grabbed a few......
...... especially since they were at these delicious prices.

We will still go and explore a real pumpkin patch/apple orchard later in the month, but these pumpkins are a great start for the seasonal decorating that we love to do both inside and out and the kids are already planning the images that they will carve into them next month.
