Welcome to Prarie Pi. This blog exists to journal and document the memories that our family experiences. Pi is "an amount of type that has been jumbled or thrown together at random." We hope to assemble in words and pictures the daily thoughts and activities that happen in our household. We do this to help those that are distant from us get a glimpse into our days so that the miles that separate us won't keep us apart.

Moe Has A Great Idea!

Yesterday, Moe was doing an astronomy experiment where he had to use balloons to make a small scale model of the sun and the planets. Moe had to blow up the balloons according to the size that each planet is in relationship to one another. The yellow balloon above ended up representing the sun......not exactly the shape I was looking for, but I'll give hime an "A" for creativity!

  2. to me it would be a perfect shape of the sun caused by the convection , which releases light and heat or it could be tons of hydrogen converting into helium ashes.
    Good job MOE!!
